Would you be able to tell me which game you started in? Prophecies, Factions or Nightfall? Each is a bit different, so once I know that, I can give a more specific answer

Campaigns are Guild Wars: Prophecies, Guild Wars: Factions, and Guild Wars: Nightfall. If you have the game, you have at least one campaign.

If you started the game in Ascalon, you have Prophecies; if you started in Shing Jea Monastery, you have Factions; and if you started in Kamadan, you have Nightfall.

You gain access to cooperative missions by advancing through the storyline (completing quests and other missions). Press "L" to look at your quest log and aee what primary quests you need to do.

Did you buy the game in a store? You could look on the box to see what you have. If you bought the trilogy, it comes with the three campaigns mentioned in the earlier posts.

Here's what you do...when you see an NPC with an ! over their head, talk to them. They will have a quest for you. To see what quests you have, press "L" If you've got a Primary quest, that will move you along in the story-line. Other quests will help you gain experience, stuff, and in some cases skills. If you're in Ascalon City, there are 2 things you should not do. #1 - Don't sell any dyes until after you've gone to the Acadamy, and #2 Don't go to the Acadamy until you're level 7 or 8. If you're in factions or Nightfall, do not skip the tutorial.

How did you purchase the game? Wherever it was from, you should be able to see whether you bought Prophecies, Factions, Nightfall or the Trilogy.

The game isn't free. You have to buy the game, but there is no monthly fee like other online games.
